For those of you who live in Chicago, you know exactly how awful the pothole situation is (for those of you who don't, thank your lucky stars). Last winter wreaked absolute havoc on the roads, and it looks like another winter will be upon us sooner than they can do proper repairs. Luckily for us Chicagoans, artist Jim Bachor has continued his guerilla effort to remedy Chicago’s ugly pothole problem by installing a number of flower mosaics in streets around the city. Bachor created four mosaics through the fall (however I’m not sure if any of them are still around--he keeps a list of photos and addresses where each piece was installed). Thank goodness for creative minds like his, aiming to take eyesores and turn them into things of interest and beauty.
